SteinerCell

Struct SteinerCell

Source
pub struct SteinerCell { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

One cell in a fixed finite strong Steiner category.

The two degreewise support sequences are Steiner’s exact double-sequence coordinates. Keeping both sequences is essential: common lower-dimensional support records whiskering and cannot be reconstructed from the top chain.

Implementations§

Source§

impl SteinerCell

Source

pub fn category(&self) -> &SteinerCategory

Ambient category context.

Source

pub fn dimension(&self) -> usize

Current cell dimension, including identity lifts.

Source

pub fn intrinsic_dimension(&self) -> usize

Dimension of the underlying nonidentity cell.

Source

pub fn is_identity(&self) -> bool

Whether this is an iterated identity.

Source

pub fn top_atoms(&self) -> &[usize]

Top atomic support of the underlying nonidentity cell.

Source

pub fn negative_supports(&self) -> &[Vec<usize>]

Negative atomic supports in degrees 0..=dimension.

Source

pub fn positive_supports(&self) -> &[Vec<usize>]

Positive atomic supports in degrees 0..=dimension.

Source

pub fn identity(&self) -> Self

Identity one dimension above this cell.

Source

pub fn source(&self) -> Result<Self, CategoryError>

Immediate globular source.

Source

pub fn target(&self) -> Result<Self, CategoryError>

Immediate globular target.

Source

pub fn source_at(&self, dimension: usize) -> Result<Self, CategoryError>

Iterated source in dimension dimension.

Source

pub fn target_at(&self, dimension: usize) -> Result<Self, CategoryError>

Iterated target in dimension dimension.

Source

pub fn compose_at( &self, next: &Self, dimension: usize, ) -> Result<Self, CategoryError>

Compose this cell followed by next along a common dimension-face.

Thus first.compose_at(&second, k) is defined precisely when the k-target of first equals the k-source of second. Both cells keep their common ambient dimension in the result.

Source

pub fn apply_automorphism( &self, automorphism: &Permutation, ) -> Result<Self, CategoryError>

Transport this cell under a verified atomic automorphism.
